“Truskavets spend its second youth” says an article in a Polish newspaper.

Truskavets is located about 100 km from the border with Poland (less than 300 km from Lublin), and it’s easy to get there by car, or by bus via Lviv, or Drohobych cities. The resort used to be the richest and the most exclusive in Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth (1569–1795).

Due to its unique mineral waters and exceptional architecture such famous Poles as Józef Piłsudski, Wincenty Witos, Julian Tuwim and others had their holidays in Truskavets. Today thousands of tourists follow in their footsteps, making Truskavets spend its second youth.

While in Poland one has to wait for quite a while to go to a sanatorium or spa hospital, in Truskavets it is enough to book a hotel room and arrive there. Currently, the resort houses about 100 accommodation facilities. Some of the great old spas were transformed into modern sanatorium centers often matching the level European resorts in terms of service.

The price of the stay varies depending on the rank of the holiday resort and whether the travel agency acts as a travel agent. On average, two weeks in a sanatorium of a medium standard, with a basic package of treatments and full board costs from 800 to 1500 PLN. Additional treatments cost several times less than in Poland. For example, you need to pay between 15 and 25 PLN for a massage.

Most of the hotels have their own swimming pools and gyms, while some of the four-star hotels run their own farms which cater fresh ecological food for their restaurants.

Except for Poles Germans, Belarusians, Slovaks and Azerbaijani are often visitors of the resort. They appreciate the low cost of services, good conditions, great care and service that speaks English, Russian and often Polish. During their stay in Truskavets visitors take pleasure in exploring the tourist opportunities of the region. Trips to Lviv and other Ukrainian cities are organized in each of Truskavets hotels.
