Weekend in Lviv

Day 1
– Meeting at the Lviv International Airport. Transfer from the airpost.
– Dinner at a local restaurant.
– Transfer to the hotel. Check-in.

Day 2
08:00-09:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00-12:00 Walking tour along the medieval city: architectural ensemble, the pearl of the Renaissance – Market Square, Church of the Assumption – the monument of Renaissance architecture, Latin Cathedra – the oldest Gothic menumeny, Armenian Cathedral – a monument of the 14th century. Visiting the museum-pharmacy and museum of weapons “Arsenal”. Visiting the market of author goods – Vernissage.
12:00-13:00 Lunch at a local restaurant.
13:00-18:00 Excursion to the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life “Shevchenko’s grove.” The Shevchenko Grove is a museum in the open air. Here You can see the pieces of Ukrainian woodcraft and home stuff. Over 10,000 exhibits from different ethnographic regions of Western Ukraine are collected here. The current exhibition contains more than 20,000 household items and folk art. Museum successfully combines hilly landscape, recovered plants from Carpathians and carefully transferred the historical buildings from different regions of Western Ukraine.
18:00-19:00 Dinner at a local restaurant.
19:00 Transfer to the hotel.

Day 3
08:00-09:00 Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out.
09:00-13:00 Excursion “Austrian Lviv” guides you through the ancient monuments of architecture, in different styles: classicism, eclecticism, baroque.
All these monuments exist, both individually and in combination with each other, giving the city its inimitable special feature. During the excursion you will visit: Mariinska square, farmacy and Mikolyash passage (the first kerosene lamp), Potocki Palace – the former residence of Count Potocki and many other sights.
13:00-14:00 Lunch at a local restaurant.
14:00-17:00 Excursion to the museum of brewing: during the tour you will be involved in the mystery of the birth of the famous Lviv beer, learn the history and traditions of its production. Degustation of the traditional drink will help you to experience the unusual taste of the “live” beer.
17:00 Transfer to the Lviv International Airport.
